Details of Disappearance
Tashiana and her brother, Carlos, were abducted by their father, Carlos Arturo Bostick. He picked them up for a weekend visit on October 17. He was supposed to return them to their mother but instead took them and fled to Mexico. On October 29, twelve days after Carlos Arturo and his children disappeared, Colorado authorities issued a warrant for his arrest on charges of kidnapping. Carlos Arturo was known to be traveling with a female companion, Maria Irene Morones.
Investigators learned that Carlos Arturo and his children were in Sonora, Mexico after their disappearances. In January 2000, they were known to be in Aguas Prietas, Mexico. The police are seeking for the return of Carlos Enrique and Tashiana in accordance with the terms of the Hague Convention on International Child Abduction, a treaty which Mexico signed.
