    removed. Speaks Spanish, Italian and was learning French.

    schizophrenia, but was not taking her medication.

    • Details of Disappearance
    Rossana was last heard from on December 7, 2005. She was last know to have stayed at the Ramada Inn in Cherokee, North Carolina, courtesy of a pastor named David from the Methodist Church. Her family has been unable to establish contact with her since.

    She was carrying a big light beige suitcase with broken handle, matching carry on, and a laptop computer. She may have pawned or sold her laptop; she has no money and her phone won't accept any more messages. There has been no activity on her bank account since December 7.

    She went to North Carolina to hike the Appalachian Trail. Investigators are now trying to learn if Miliani met Gary Hilton there, and possibly met her fate.
    Hilton is now charged with murdering hiker Meredith Emerson. Authorities are determining if this accused killer played a role in in Rossana's disappearance.
